Welcome Back, Kathleen!
Kathleen founded Maya Yoga in the spring of 2002. She has been practicing and teaching Ashtanga Yoga for 22 years. She completed Tim Miller’s first teacher training in 2000 and practices daily with him in Encinitas, CA, the birthplace of Ashtanga Yoga in the west. She has also practiced with Pattabhi Jois and Sharat and Saraswati Jois. She is a devotee of Paramahansa Yoganada and encourages her students to adopt a daily spiritual practice, sadhana, to deepen their relationship with God. www.kathleenkastner.com

Ashtanga Vinyasa Improv Class (for ALL levels)
This playful class will focus on a mixture of the Ashtanga series postures, including arm balances.

Eight Limbs Talk- Applying Patanjali’s eight limbs on and off the mat.
Lead Primary Series (Yoga Chikitsa- Yoga Therapy)
This class will focus on forward bends and purfying the internal organs.
Sunday Aug 4th

Meditation and Pranayama: Reuniting the Soul with God
Intro to Second Series (Nadi Shodhana-Nerve Purification)
This class will focus on hip and heart openers with modifications for ALL levels.
