Meditation is an integral piece of the yoga philosophy. This class will introduce you to many different types of meditation.Every month, we learn and practice a new technique that will bring you deeper into a meditative state of calm and ease.
Each class begins with four minutes of sitting to quiet the mind. Then Lisa guides the group through a Meditation technique or Centering exercise. After a reading or dharma talk, students sit for 15 minutes in seated meditation together, practicing the new technique learned that day.
We end by dedicating the fruits of our practice to the liberation of all sentient beings everywhere and three inhales together as a community.
