Thai Partner Yoga

Pranayama

Fridays: 9:00 - 10:00 am

All bodies are welcome to this inclusive dance and breathwork class with Karen. Breathwork is based on the direct teachings from BNS Iyengar, Patthabi Jois' contemporary and Krishnamacharya's oldest living student, with whom Karen has studied. This pranayama sequence is a gentler and more simple sequence than what is typically taught. As the 4th limb of Ashtanga yoga, it is the bridge between the external and internal elements of the practice. Somatic movement exploration is a joyous way to dance, inclusive of all bodies. Non-judgemental and non-productive, it is a moving meditation between sensation and space, as if your body was a ball of play-dough with lungs and imagination, and you create from that internal space.

Embodied

Pilates & Kundalini Activation

Monthly

Guided by Christy Marsh & Cristina Lopez

This 90 min class merges two worlds of somatic magic, by fusing Classical Mat Pilates with the expanded soul journey of Kundalini Activation.

By moving the body and stretching the meridian lines, we can connect to the heart and a deeper level of consciousness.

Christy Marsh is a STOTT Pilates Instructor, Reiki Master and Tantrika who loves to empower through movement, playfulness and expansion.

Cristina Lopez is trained in both (KAT) Kundalini Activation Training and Inner Dance Kundalini Activation, from the founder, Pi.

She loves to be a vessel of nurturing and love for this planet!

More Information about the Process:

The core of Inner Dance is to experience free movement.  Participants are encouraged to let their bodies move intuitively to the music, which can range from ambient sounds to rhythmic beats, shamanic music, etc.

This helps to release trapped energy and emotions as participants engage in movement. The aim is to activate Kundalini energy.

This might lead to spontaneous movements and expressions, allowing individuals to connect with deeper aspects of themselves and release blockages.

Facilitators might work with participants to help them channel their energy,  using technics of touch to balance energy centers (chakras) and promote healing.

Progressive Ashtanga Yoga Lab

Fridays: 12:00 - 1:00 pm

Friendly 2nd series asana lab incorporating strengthening preps and drills to explore what's available to you in the progressive Ashtanga sequence.
