Maya Yoga's extensive curriculum is by far one of the best parts of teacher training. The curriculum goes beyond asana training and prepared me to dive deep in to yogic practice and philosophy that I could practice for the rest of my life.

Their Instructors are passionate about the pursuit of their own practice is what I think makes them exceptional teachers.

Kyra brings incredible and direct knowledge of Ashtanga practice. Not only pushing you but nurturing good habits. Her Asana breakdown is profound yet intellectually simplistic to understand and follow.

Jesse provides incredible philosophical depth to the training. In constant pursuit of herself - her thirst for knowledge and philosophical clarity rubs off on you. The discussions are creative, historically significant and applicable to modern day life. Her intro classes have a relaxed intensity and prepares you to be on the right path.

Emily is the heart of the program. Incredibly talented yet very approachable and keeps the teacher training program coordinated and organized. Adds realistic modifications and challenges to Asana breakdown that will help you as a teacher. She makes her classes exciting and fun.

The 1:1 instructions and adjustments are unparalleled. The experience of the teachers truly shows here. I feel they really understand we all have different bodies and work to understand them to tailor the training and adjustments.
